Nadia Fragnito is hosting a series of virtual, interactive cooking events that will make you drool while you're social distancing at home this month.
Nadia is best known for her appearance on the Australian TV cooking serie
s The Chef's Line when she transformed traditional Italian recipes into stunning vegan creations. Nadia also holds regular vegan Italian cooking classes and demonstrations, and writes articles for prominent vegan publications. Plus, Nadia has curated a bespoke vegan menu for the popular Melbourne Italian restaurant, Tutto Bene, and has published the vegan Italian cookbook

For Nadia, cooking (and eating the final product) is a pleasurable and joyful experience infused with passion. Nadia's virtual events draw on her Italian heritage as she recreates vegan versions of traditional recipes from her childhood. Across three virtual events this month, Nadia will walk you through some classic Italian dishes that can easily be made vegan. This will also be a fun way for you to overcome the social distancing barrier and bring you together with others virtually in the comfort of your own home.

Drool, an interactive and friendly online event space where you can have a laugh and chat with some new people, whilst you refine your cooking skills and learn how to dish up a delicious meal. All you need is access to Zoom on your device of choice; you'll be emailed the ingredients list in advance once you book. Spaghetti Carbonara on Saturday, August 8 from 6pm to 7.30pmYes, you can make spaghetti carbonara without meat, dairy and eggs. Nadia will show you how it's done as she teaches you some simple cooking techniques while using all plant-based ingredients. You'll learn Nadia's vegan secrets on how to cook this classic, and popular, Italian dish that doesn't compromise on texture and flavour. Tiramisu on Sunday, August 16 from 6pm to 7.30pmDid you know the word 'tiramisu' translates to 'pick me up'? Tiramisu is one of Italy's most famous desserts and you can now enjoy its cheery goodness in its vegan form. Nadia will show you how easy it is to create this multi-layered and full-flavoured classic dessert, which can easily be made gluten-free, too.
