A ‘Vegantastic’ festival not to miss out on
The Vegan Festival Adelaide is back on again this year and it will feature a jam-packed program of events and activities for everyone to enjoy, even your furry best friend!

There will be plenty of entertainment and fun-filled events to enjoy, with highlights including cooking demonstrations, hands-on workshops, guest speakers, live music bands, massive diverse market stalls filled with vegan products and goodies, vegan food and beverages pop-ups and stalls, animal rights groups, vegan societies and kids activities.

Australia is the third fastest growing vegan market in the world and you can celebrate this through the Vegan Festival Adelaide. The festival aims to promote a vegan lifestyle by informing visitors about animal rights, health and environmental sustainability, providing the best 100-percent vegan products, demonstrating the scope of vegan cookery and providing advice and support to those becoming vegan or becoming a vegan parent.

Indulge and awaken your senses with cooking demonstrations while pop-up food and beverage stalls will feature an array of vegan foodie stalls including Lord of the Fries, Raw Earth Dessert, The Tea Catcher, Fry's Family Foods and much more. There are also stalls perfect for spoiling your pets!

Cooking demonstrations will feature some of the best vegan chef's as they share their secrets. This year, the cooking demonstration line-up will feature Alfie's Kitchen, an alternative, vegan food company that values creative, sustainable, and wholesome food practices.

Dr. Helen Roex-Haitjema, paediatrician, migrated to Australia with her husband and three children in 2000. She has been researching the medical and nutrition literature on the relation between nutrition and health as well as becoming fascinated by health plant-based diet.

Pip Coogan is the founder and owner of "The Vegan Catering Company" and she specialises in the implementation of Australian made plant-based foods.

Tegan Steele is an author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, health and wellbeing guru, wholefood alchemist, Kundalini and Yin Yoga teacher, beauty therapist, personal trainer and animal advocate. She specialises in physical detoxing and healing bodily ailments.

Zac Bird is a home cook who loves to cook up a storm, by creating food that is fatty, indulgent, and all things people think vegan food should not be.

The festival is also great for vegetarians and non-vegans too as you explore and experience the world of veganism. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

There will be around fourteen guest speakers. These speakers will explore and illustrate the Vegan Festival Adelaide core theme as well as share personal stories and passions.

With seven workshops to enjoy, there will certainly be no shortage of fun. Some of the workshops will feature dance, drumming, music, fitness, meditation and relaxation, and animal rights workshops.

The little ones will love the Kids Zone, which will include cooking demonstrations, chess workshops and classes, circus shows and performances, wrestling demonstrations and acts, face painting, dance workshops and acts, and a range of fun and entertaining performances for the whole family to enjoy.
