A small and unimposing fast food takeaway in Sydney's Mt Pritchard suburb; Vaz's at first just seems like your average takeaway shop. The menu here consists of the usual choices, such as hot chips, salads, coffee and various burgers. Most prices are within $10, which is good value. The burgers are especially well cooked; and after some tasting one would be able to see some of Vaz's own innovations, noticeably the sauces. This was able to elevate the burgers here above most generic ones elsewhere.
One of the key attraction at Vaz's is its "Ark Burger", A burger that's literally more than 30cm tall, made with double layers of bacon, double beef patties, roasted chicken, scotch fillet steak, chicken schnitzel, double cheese, egg , lettuce, tomato, onions, beetroot and pineapple. It is quite a task just to name all of its components, let alone consume one. Nonetheless this is the perfect burger for those who want to let themselves go once in are while and indulge their taste-buds, compared to the tiny burgers of your regular fast food chains, this is one juggernaut that's made with a lot of heart.
Vaz's brings you classic takeaway food with its own unique spin. Amongst the hundreds of takeaways I have been to, it without a doubt provided me with one of the more memorable experiences.
