If you've been missing LIVE gigs, the next best thing to do in isolation is to watch Vault Sessions hosted by Arts Centre Melbourne from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on the following Thursdays - 23 and 30 July and 6 August 2020. This series of digital concerts are direct from the stages of Hamer Hall in the city where many a Morning Melodies have been held, along with other amazing shows. You can watch the shows on Facebook or YouTube, with each concert available to view again for two weeks.
Set up your large screen smart TV if you have one, turn the sound up, dim the lights, have some munchies and drinks by your side and slide into music heaven.
First up on the 23rd of July is singer-songwriter Alice Skye (on Spotify), who has emerged as a formidable talent on the Australian music scene. From country Victoria, her original songs has a sensitivity and maturity beyond her years.
Ziggy Ramo (on Spotify), Sydney-based hip hop and freestyle artist is up next on 30 July with razor-sharp lyrics and cool musical talent. Not surprising as in music and life, he's an activist and more.
Cash Savage and her band The Last Drinks (on Spotify) have played just about every festival in Australia and toured to sold-out venues across Australia. Politics, grief and rage weigh her music that cuts right through the noise.
