Uses for those jars that are lurking in your house
There are many ways to utilize all of those jars that you are in an abundance of, from food and drink to memories and gratitude. So, do not throw them away. They are going to be of use.

Food and Drink

For a grab n go meal, pack yourself a jar salad. Make sure to have the dressing on the bottom so as not to make the lettuce soggy. Before consuming, shake the jar.

Place oats and milk in jar with the lid on. Place in the fridge. When ready to consume, take the lid off and microwave the jar for a couple of minutes.

Jars are an attractive way to drink chilled lemonade.

Iced Tea
Make yourself some Southern Sweet Tea by making iced tea with simple syrup (dissolved sugar in boiling water). Sip out of a straw placed in jar of tea.

Iced coffee
Either prepare instant or brewed coffee. Pour jars halfway. Then, pour in some sweetened condensed milk the rest of the way. Place in the fridge. Drink after chilled.

Preserve jelly and store spaghetti sauce.

Non-Food and Drink

Gift jars
For example, make a spa jar as a gift.

Tidy-up the kitchen silverware by storing silverware or kitchen utensils in jars or keep the pens/paper clips/highlighters/etc. on your desk in one place.

Fancy Lights
Buy dollar store battery-operated lighted candles and place in jars for a pretty display.

Memories and Gratitude
Do you have loved ones that you have many memories with or feel gratitude toward? Write these moments on paper and place in the jar. Give the jar to the loved one on a special occasion.

Have you gotten the urge to raid your pantry of all its empty jars and put to good use instead of collecting gust?

On the contrary, if you have no jars, do not throw those jars out that you tend to throw away from the grocery store. Rinse them out and save. If you want to buy jars, they tend to cost around $8.99 for a crate.

I hope you have found this list to be of good use.

There is a brand of Conserve that I purchase in various flavours (made in France), in glass which has a checkered lid.
I reuse when pickling cucumbers to give to friends as Christmas gifts.
No need for decorating with piece of cloth, just attach a gift card.
