Raise money for special needs children
Variety has again teamed up with Luna Park to host its 28th Melbourne Cup luncheon. To be held in the Park's Grand Ballroom, famous for its iconic Sydney Harbour views, the event will feature a two-course meal and a five hour stream of beverages.
The Morning Show's Karen Ledbury will be host for the afternoon, presenting a diverse programme of entertainment, including a live auction, sweep stakes, best-dressed awards and a magic show from Jack Black. The race will be shown live on a big screen, and there'll be private TAB facilities. Guests wishing to arrive in style can take advantage of free UBER car hire. As is the tradition, Variety will simultaneously host a children's party onsite, catering for more than 50 special needs kids and their carers. Luncheon guests are invited to drop in.
Tickets are $185 each, or $1,850 for a table of ten. It's also possible to book a 'Corporate Sponsorship' table for $3,000 which includes VIP seating, a VIP tour of the children's party, gift bags, MC mentions, a logo on the big screen and a logo on the website. All proceeds go to Variety's work in assisting sick, disadvantaged and special needs children.
