Recounting the adventures in Sydney and beyond! :)
Published September 7th 2014
Vapiano is an Italian restaurant located at the corner of King Street and York Street in the Sydney CBD. They offer a selection of antipastas, pastas, pizzas, and salads that are made fresh to order. The talented and friendly chefs cook your order right in front you, making sure that they cater the dish to your needs and preferences.

Salami e Ricotta Con Rucola w/ Fettuccine

Their pasta menu is quite extensive so it was a really hard decision which pasta sauce to pick. In the end, I decided to go with the salami e ricotta con rucola with fettuccine. The fettuccine was cooked to a perfect al dente, the sauce well balanced. I didn't get the opportunity to try the pizzas but from my observations of the other guests at my table, they were devoured within moment which could only mean one thing - delicious.

Another thing I love about Vapiano is their billing system. Everyone is given a card as you enter which is used to order the food. At the end of meal, everyone pays for their own card. It is perfect for large groups of friends as it makes split billing so much easier.

The environment is cosy with moderately dim lighting. The staff are extremely helpful and friends, and the chefs provide very professional service.

It is a must-try for all you pasta and pizza lovers out there.
