My husband and I decided to go for a casual Italian Vegetarian meal and there's no better option than Vapiano. It offers fresh food made right in front of your eyes in a clean and extremely hygienic restaurant.

The menu has a good selection of pasta and pizzas and the price range is pretty upright. There are lots of options for Vegans and Gluten free diners also.

I had the Crema d Fungi Pasta (Penne). There's a wide variety of pasta to choose from as your base pasta, which you can personalise to suit your taste buds. You can request for your dish to be hot, mild, sweet, bland or creamy; I like mine creamy with lots of veggies.

We also tried the classic Penne all'Arrabbiata; a very simple onion and garlic flavoured tomato sauce, which is freshly prepared everyday.

We then went for the Verdure pizza, which consists of grilled eggplant, capsicum, zucchini, mushrooms, on homemade tomato sauce with double mozzarella.

The other pizza that we tried was Caprese, which was topped with sliced ripe tomatoes, fresh buffalo mozzarella and basil on homemade tomato sauce.

We definitely were left with no space for dessert, but I wouldn't leave till I had satiated my sweet tooth. With limited options available, we went with the White Chocolate Cheese Cake with Salted Caramel, topped with honeycomb. It was a thorough delight to our tongues and tummy.

Our casual dine out became a romantic date with our seating close to the woodfire place and a nice candle lit table.

A beautiful experience with food, wine, ambience and not to forget, dessert.
