Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the staff who provided me with a menu and explained to me how the restaurant worked. I was then directed to go to the food counter to place my order with an individual card supplied - the value of the meal was charged to the card once it was scanned and I had to bring it to the cashier to pay the bill when the meal was finished.
The pasta is home-made and there is a wide array of varieties for customers to choose from. I chose one of the Summer Specials - fresh prawns with chilli, black olives, cherry tomatoes and basil ($19.9) - garnished with rocket, a lemon wedge and thyme. The chef cooked the food in front of me and then I brought it to the table I picked. The food was beautifully cooked - it's fresh and delicious with the serving portion deemed appropriate to me. The food ordering and payment process was indeed a new experience to me.
Additionally, happy hours are available between 4 pm and 7 pm everyday ($4 for small size). So you and your friends can enjoy drinks after lunch or before dinner. Please be mindful that you would have to pay extra if you order different size of the drinks.
I ordered a glass of house wine ( regular size at $5) during happy hours
