THE LUME, Australia's and the Southern Hemisphere's first permanent digital gallery comes to life at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

A multi-sensory experience will indulge your senses as you encounter the sights and sounds through the vibrant works of the Dutch master Vincent van Gogh.

Van Gogh's works have been exhibited and admired for over a century – the cinematic environment takes place as the gallery transforms into states of color and is accompanied by a choreographed soundtrack.

You'll accompany the Dutch master on a tour of the Netherlands, Paris, Arles, Saint Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise. Step inside The Bedroom or be surrounded by Van Gogh's glorious 'Starry Night', while the uniquely recreated Café Terrace 1888 evokes the flavours of nineteenth-century France.

With no time limits and no set paths, your experience is entirely up to you. Opened daily with various session times according to date and time. Please check the schedule on the day you wish to attend. Last session times are scheduled one hour prior to closing time.

Wow, that's an interesting concept. The sky would indeed be the limit for what they could display.
