Please come and celebrate the launch of VAMP, the Virtual Australian Museum of Palaeontology, on Thursday, 1 June 2023, starting from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm at Flinders University, 182 Victoria Square/ Tarntanyangga.

VAMP is a Flinders University palaeontology initiative, brought to life with help from Flinders Microscopy and Microanalysis, the South Australian Museum, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, the Western Australian Museum and seed funding provided by the Flinders University College of Science and Engineering.

MC for the evening will be Prof. John Long, as he will guide everyone through the evening with some fascinating short talks highlighting the diversity of scanning modalities and applications used in paleontology today. Other speakers for the night are Dr Aaron Camens (Flinders University), Mr Jacob van Zoelen (Flinders University) and Ms Tory Botha (South Australian Museum / University of Adelaide).

Please register to attend this FREE event here. Doors will be open at 5.30 pm, drinks and nibbles will be provided from 6 pm, with presentations starting from 6.30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please note that limited parking is available.
