In Traditional Chinese culture, The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, when the moon is at its fullest, which usually falls in Mid- September or early October. In the southern hemisphere, this important festival falls in our Spring and is celebrated using it's other name, the Moon Lantern Festival.
