Come and snatch a bargain and stumble upon something unique at the market stalls where you'll find all sorts of things peculiar, Asian and vintage. And if you look hard enough, you'll find interesting odds and ends that you may want to take home.

Bring your friends, kids and family because you don't want to miss out on the traditional Lion dance. Watch as the lion comes alive with performers imitating a lion's movements in a lion costume. And kids, you may want to cover your ears because cymbals, a gong and drums will accompany this lively scene making a huge racket. Oh yes, it's loud, but only because we want to scare away evil spirits. You may also want to keep your ears closed for cracking firecracker displays throughout the weekend.

The Chinese Belly Dancers will be full of energy and vigor with their demonstrations of the original Chinese belly dance and the Shanghai Dancers will display a dance that's combined Chinese classical song and western style dancing. Intrigued?

The Vietnamese community will share their traditional dance moves while the Filipino Australian Cultural Entertainment will present a perfect mix of cultural dances from the Philippines. The Thai Buddhist Sunday School will be performing various dances from different cultures representing serenity and happiness and a group of Taiwanese dancers will welcome the New Year with a performance that stands for laughter and thanksgiving.

There will be martial arts extravaganza with exciting Kung Fu demonstrations by Hock Chong Wu Shu Centre, and fabulous Tai Chi classes and workshops to suit all ages and fitness levels.

Be on the lookout for the Three Brothers - Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, who were brave warriors all well-known for their brotherhood, loyalty and courage. Don't forget to take a photo with these historical roving characters. And don't forget to watch the awesome puppetry shows by Daniel Anderson, which will wow audiences.
