Are you a computer wiz? Game enthusiast? Up for a different night out full of challenge and fun with mates? Then head down to Woodville to enjoy the last ever LAN (Local Area Network) party, hosted by Valhalla.

Valhalla was formed in 2001 by two University clubs, it has grown to become the largest LAN event held in South Australia, and is one of the largest across Australia. At these events people come to play games, challenge themselves, share their expertise, advice and knowledge on many games across the following platforms, PC, PS3, Xbox and Wii.

Valhalla LAN events are held at the St Clair Recreation Centre. The centre supplies a large area for set ups of computers and consoles and also boasts a canteen that is open during these events. The canteen offers foods such as pasties, pies, sausage rolls all at affordable prices as well as snacks and refreshments to keep your mind working. Subway also delivers on site and are a sponsor of Valhalla.

The event on Dec 3rd 2011 will be the final event for Valhalla, and there will be a free BBQ on the day during tea. This December 3rd event will be held in court 4 which is an air conditioned area so there are no problems beating the heat. There may be smaller LAN events in future but not a large event like at St Clair Recreation Centre, keep informed for future events at Valhalla website.

Bookings and seat reservations are essential and are on sale from 4th of November 2011. When attending the LAN party at Woodville's St Clair Recreation Centre you must supply your own computer/laptop or game console, keyboard, mouse, controllers, software/ games, headphones and power cables that are needed. Valhalla supplies enough power to run PC/ laptops and monitors therefore dual monitors are not permitted.

If you are interested and want some fun company whilst challenging yourself through the many levels of gaming then head down to Woodville's St Clair Recreation Centre to support Valhalla's final large LAN event.
