From Singles events to dinner and everything in between
Love it or hate it, Valentine Day has come around again. So here are five events in Canberra for both couples and singles, because who said V Day is just for couples, right?
Lucky's Singles party
Straight out of the show Sex and the City comes a singles event with a twist - you need to bring an ex along! QT thinks that two wrongs can make a right, so bring your ex along and find a spark with someone else! Of course, if you're not speaking to your ex bring your bestie or trusted plus one along.
1 London Circuit, Canberra | February 14th from 6pm
Celebrate Valentines Day at Howling Moon with a Valentine's Day Seafood special. This includes a VIP seafood plater, a glass of sparkling each on arrival and reserved seating. All while enjoying the incredible panoramic views from the rooftop bar!
The evening begins with a drink on arrival and then proceeds to a luxurious dinner in Gandel Hall. During the evening, local sound artist Happy Axe will create sonic dreamscapes and Santa Fe based singer Wendy Rule and her band will perform their Persephone songbook. Included in the ticket is entry to the Love and Desire exhibition.
National Gallery of Australia | 15th February | 6pm-8.30pm | $165 pp
Cupids Undie Run
Fun Runs aren't something you normally associate with Valentines Day, but this is an association that the Cupid Undie Run is trying to make. Join other Cupid runners all in their Calvin Klein undies running to raise money for the Children's Tumor Foundation. A bit of fun, all in the name of charity, what's not to love?
Lennox Gardens | February 17th | 9:30am onwards | $45
