Love is in the air... and on TV and social media, in shopping centres, magazines and catalogues, in chocolate shops and florists all over our fair city. You probably want your Valentine's Day celebrations with your loved one to be memorable and Brisbane is happy to oblige with a host of restaurants serving up special Valentine's Day dining menus.
Their special Valentines Day menu will be presented in two sittings, one at 6pm and one at 8.30pm. For $80 per person (food only) or $120 per person with matching wines you can choose from set options that include crispy skin pork belly, orange and soy roast duck breast and pear tarte tatin with vanilla bean ice cream. I can personally vouch for the pear tarte tatin - it's delicious.
Brisbane restaurant legend, Romain Bapst, is offering two set menu sittings for Valentine's Day dinner at his renowned French-flavoured Lutèce Bistro & Wine Bar. Some of the delectable inclusions are a "Bouillabaisse" terrine, slow roasted duck and crème brulee. Mmmm...
You'll get three courses from 5.30pm for a 6pm sitting for $90 per person or four courses from 8pm for an 8.30pm sitting for $115 per person.
South Bank's Cove Bar and Dining invites you to 'Share the Love' this Valentine's Day with a special share menu developed just for the occasion. Two sessions are available - the first from 6pm to 7.30pm, and the second from 8pm to 9.30pm. The cost is $150 per couple.
The stylish Sofitel Brisbane Central has not one, but four Valentine's Day dining options.
