Valentine’s Concert 2023 ABBA Symphonic

Mamma Mia, it's Valentine's Day again. Instead of taking your partner to Waterloo, why not take them somewhere a little closer? Some couples see gift giving as a competition and of course, the Winner Takes it All. So if you want to win, you have to go all out and get them something really Super (Trouper). For people out there looking for something very special and looking for a way to say thank you for every time you Take a Chance on Me, there is a Valentine's Day Concert you could take them to. And if you haven't picked up on all of the clues already, then you will be very surprised that this year, all of the songs you will be listening to will be from the back catalogues of ABBA.



Thanks to the musical performances by Annie Skates and Emma Kershaw, you will be enjoying all of the ABBA hits. And the audience will definitely be saying Thank you for the Music to the Perth Symphony Orchestra.

While you are being a Dancing Queen, you will be able to look out onto the beautiful Joondalup Resort and have a drink too. Speaking of the food and drink, there will be food trucks on the night, for you to purchase, as long as you ask politely for them to Gimme, Gimme, Gimme some tasty treats. Or you can always bring your own and have yourself a picnic on the green.

There are no seats available, you have to bring your own seating or a rug to sit on, for the night. You are encouraged to dress up in your best Disco costume- think white flared pants and as many sequins as you can possibly attach to your clothes. You can't go too big when it comes to this style!

If you are planning to be at this concert, you have to book early. Tickets cost quite a bit of Money, Money, Money, but it is worth it to make your partners Valentines Day unforgettable. For non-residents, tickets are $70. And for residents of the City of Joondalup, it is only $35. If you do happen to score tickets, you are going to want to be at the Joondalup Resort in Connolly on Thursday, February 9th. Gates open at 5pm, and the performances begin at 7:30pm. The show will end at 10pm. This is going to be a great night, and your partner will be saying Lay All Your Love on Me thanks to this concert!
