I must admit that I was a little sceptical of how close I wanted the emus to get to me and had a few kangaroos try to "hug" me when they were on to the fact I had some pellets for them ( available at the kiosk for $1) but they were all really gentle and my own two year old son had a ball hand feeding them.

They also have a few different farm animals as well as interactive displays where you can pat the koalas or touch a snake.
Daily they run:
Koala shows at 11am, 2pm and 4pm
Snake Shows at 4pm

I also love that walking through the park is a bit like a farm experience. There is heaps of space and the paths are stroller friendly when your kids get tired of walking.
