Urimbirra Wildlife Park is an excellent weekend destination, especially if you want to keep the kids entertained for a few hours.

Quiet and unassuming, Urimbirra is a bit of a hidden gem down at Victor - not as visible as Greenhills Adventure Park, it offers excellent value for money, having a great range of animals to see, and plenty to touch, too. Spend the extra on a bag of food to offer the various creatures, the kangaroos are tame and gentle, and a sure fire winner with the children.

Koala's are fed three times daily, and are in an open area that you're welcome to enter for photographs. Snakes and Crocodiles are publicly fed during the day, too - you can handle the snakes, but luckily the crocs stay in their enclosure.

There's plentiful parking, a good picnic area, a kiosk (although it's much better value if you bring your own food and snacks) and the whole park is nice and shady, and well laid out.

Bring the family, it's easy to spend three or four hours here just strolling the grounds and enjoying the atmosphere. Recommended.
