Sit Back At Riverside And Enjoy Urbane Markets to New Farm
The Urbane Markets Group is a boutique Mecca Night Market, which was founded in 2018 in Ipswich, which was their flagship market. Their intention is to expand into other areas in Australia holding night markets and helping community organisations grow. The Ipswich is still held on a regularly every Saturday from 5.00 to 9.00pm at Booval.
On Sunday 18th August 2019, the Urbane Markets Group is holding its first New Farm Market from 11.00am through to 6.00pm. This market is part of the Lantern Festival and will be held at 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane. Prizes for the best lantern to be brought on the night will be a $3 x $25 Mr Toy Toyworld Voucher.
As there is a licensed bar operating, attendees are encouraged to take an Uber to Riverside. Please bring a rug to sit on the grass, while overlooking and Brisbane River and enjoying a fun-filled day of unique market stalls, live music, yummiest food, art, design and community spirit. There will be plenty of activities for the children including a jumping castle and face painting.
This is not your usual market; Urbane Markets Group are renown for attracting thousands of visitors to their markets at each event.

Hi Susan, I believe you have the wrong address in your article. You have it at Riverside, 123 Eagle St, Bris, the Urbane Markets Group Fb page lists it as Riverside Receptions, 50 Oxlade St, East Bris, but it should be Riverside Receptions, 50 Oxlade St NEWFARM. Kinda makes sense being Newfarm’s newest market lol. I’m concerned about the recent spate of dog poisonings in the area as the fur babies always come along with me.
