Founded in 1993, Urban Seed is a not-for-profit organisation, that engages faith, community and culture, to benefit the homeless and marginalised of Melbourne and Victoria.
Urban Seed provides an atmosphere of belonging and acceptance, through shared lunches, singing, prayer, cooking and walking groups, and creative activities, including art classes.
In recent months, street artists Morgan, Robert, Mark and Wayne, have been invited to share their time to teach their artistic skills at the weekly Credo Café art classes. Their efforts have produced numerous colourful and creative works, which will be displayed for sale at the Art from the Margins - Street to Street Art Exhibition.
This fundraising event will be held in the Narthex of Collins Street Baptist Church, 174 Collins Street, Melbourne, from July 16th - 25th, daily from 10am-3pm.
An Opening Night reception will be held on Tuesday July 15th, from 6pm. All are welcome.
