A newcomer to Melbourne, I love exploring the city and sourrounds by day and night, finding bargains, learning new things, the great outdoors and Melbourne life in general.

Beautiful food in beautiful surrounds
Recently opened in Albert Park, Urban ProJuice specialises in raw and vegetarian cuisine with plenty of vegan and gluten free options.

Already drawing crowds, there is plenty of seating with two floors indoors, the upper with a balcony, a front porch and a beautiful courtyard with orchard garden.

Table service is provided and I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful in advising on menu options. The café is sufficiently staffed to ensure customers are not waiting long. Service was prompt and my meal came within 5 minutes of ordering.

I went for one of the all day breakfast options but it was a difficult decision to make. I ordered a small juice which I felt was actually a little too small to justify the $7.50 price tag.

Big vegan breakfast

With a range of juices, smoothies, breakfast dishes, salads, wraps, curries and burgers you are spoilt for choice. And the dishes I saw displayed by the counter looked as delicious as my breakfast was, especially the rice paper rolls. I did not have room for a dessert but did spot some raw slices, cake and muffins. The prices are mid-range as you would expect for the Bayside location and the portion sizes are generous (apart from the juices!).

Urban ProJuice is licensed, has free wi-fi and offers take away. 1 hour street parking in available nearby.

There are some eco-friendly goods on sale (and Pana chocolate) and only environmentally friendly products are used. Locally grown, seasonal, organic, fair trade, fresh produce is sourced so it really does tick all the boxes.

If you are looking for fresh and healthy food with great service in a welcoming and quaint setting, try Urban ProJuice.
