There's a brand new urban food and wine festival coming to Linde Reserve in Stepney this November.

Celebrating all that is best about eastern Adelaide, the Urban Picnic brings food, wine and fun for everyone with local retailers, makers, artists and entertainers all creating a dreamy spring vibe worthy of your attention.

AFL footballer Justin Westhoff and one of Adelaide's favourite family entertainers, Peter Combe and his Bellyflop in a Pizza band feature in this brand new family (and doggo) friendly festival.

There'll be heaps of things to do and see at the Urban Picnic. Entertainers, competitions, workshops and market stalls will keep you busy grooving and browsing or you could just sit back with a cocktail or wine under a shady tree to enjoy the atmosphere of late spring in the eastern suburbs.

Perhaps you fancy your latte art skills? Enter now to flex those skills in the Presstwood Coffee Roasters latte art competition at Urban Picnic with major prizes to be won.

Outdoors on Parade is a local homewares store that was recently awarded the Global Innovation Award for Best Homewares Store in Australia and they're bringing a pop-up stall to the festival just in time for Christmas!

Hygge Studio Wreaths are 100% real. Based on seasonal availability and each florist's creative flair, each one is totally unique. Urban Picnic has three sizes available to pre-order. You can even sign up for a workshop and make your own!

Ambra Liqueurs are a local spirit maker and let's face it, who doesn't love a fresh blood orange spritz on a sunny afternoon? You can buy and enjoy more from their excellent range at Urban Picnic.

Adelaide Gin will bring their A-game and some of the best gin in town for you to enjoy a tipple or two.

Food from Fine and Fettle, Seoul Sistas, The Filipino Project, Chopping Board Catering, The Edible Exchange and Forage Supply Co will satiate your gourmet desires throughout the event.

The Friday night portion of the event, titled Friday night, First Night Fever will party on with entertainment from The Happy Leonards and The Good Old Fashioned Way until late.

With Peter Combe and the Bellyflop into a Pizza band on Saturday and a dedicated kids area, there'll be plenty to keep your kids occupied. Just announced is that Reggae On and Dusty Lee Stephensen will be playing straight after Peter and his band. Stick around for more grooving in the sun!

You'll be able to bring the kids to The Urban Picnic to sit on Santa's knee straight after the Norwood Christmas Pageant. There's no better way to enjoy a nice and calm visit to Santa this silly season!

Interesting to learn of the perennial performer's new band. Great name too.
