The Urban Photographer of the Year competition invites all types of photographers to perfectly depict a city of their choosing.
The theme this year is "Cities at Work". As well as these sub categories; Travel/Transport, Workplace, Architecture, Urban regeneration, Cityscape and Environment. An hourly prize category is also in place so the hour your picture represents has to be considered also.
It's worth a shot in this day and age, where pretty much every city dweller is likely to have access to a camera.
CBRE, the people behind the competition are well sponsored so it doesn't cost the entrant anything to get involved.
So why enter? Well you get your work displayed internationally, you might win the title of Urban Photographer of the Year or achieve 2nd or 3rd place or a merit award for an outstanding contribution to your chosen category. You also have the chance to win some incredible prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Anyone over the age of 16 can enter. All images must be received by midnight 31st August 2013. Images should be no smaller than 1MB and no larger than 4MB. Images should be in JPEG format.
