When a girl bakes and rakes through her wardrobe

Vintage clothes markets have become a real drawcard. One might even say they are increasingly becoming big business.

Which kind of defeats the purpose.

This event however is quite wholesome and cute. It is a whole lot of Facebook friends who love fashion and sometimes baking.

And they got together, online of course, and organised an event that looks like great fun for all.

They came up with a catchy name -- Urban Market.

They definitely have a great venue - upstairs at the Lord Newry Hotel -- a quaint inner city pub.

They even have the right address being in North Fitzroy. You don't get much trendier and more community spirited than in North Fitzroy.

They will be upstairs at this dinky pub selling their pre-loved vintage, designer and urban clothes.

Their goods will be cheap -- they promise bargains and "all stock must go."

They've teamed the chance to shop with champagne, live music, cakes and yummy baked goods!

Sounds like a lovely Sunday afternoon event. So it might just be worth getting along there.
