For University of Queensland students, this is one of the biggest events of O-Week.
New and returning students come along and have a look at over 190 clubs and societies in UQ. For a map of O-Week see here.
Lots of performances, competitions, and hundreds of stalls with free samples and products. There is so much to love about market day in any university. Thousands of students - the nervous tension of brand new students so excited and scared at the same time. The happy greetings of returning students meeting their friends and steeling themselves for another year behind the textbooks. And the sheer joy mixed with determination of final year students who know their way around as well as all of the teachers and have their own crowd to hang with, who just want the year over.
