Ever wanted to go upside down on a bike? This new exhibition at Sci-Tech will let you do just that. The main feature of this exciting new exhibition is an unique 360 bike that allows you to experience the concepts of free-fall, velocity and momentum as you travel in a loop. Up, Down and Around will allow you to explore the concepts of physics and have fun at the same time.

The exhibit took over 9 months to create and uses a fixed-gear bicycle that is attached to a pivot mechanism to a 360 loop-the-loop. How does it work? Riders pedal forward that allows them to build up speed, each time it rocks backwards. The rider has complete control of the velocity and speed of each rotation.

There are some restrictions though and these are:

There is a 100kg weight limit.
The minimum height is 130cm and the rider must be secured to a harness.
Closed in, sturdy footwear is to be worn at all times.

Sci-tech recommends that due to the popularity of the exhibition, not all visitors can be guaranteed a ride, so get there early and be patient.

The exhibition is currently under maintenance and is out of action. Sci-Tech apologises for any inconvenience.
