Be prepared for cutting edge music like none other
Time to expand your appreciation of a diverse range of musical genres with this world renown festival, featuring exclusive Australian premieres. Previously a part of the Adelaide Festival, Unsound Adelaide, one of the world's most experimental and electronic music festivals, returns as a stand-alone festival that will feature an exclusive program of artists making their first appearance in Adelaide.

Unsound Adelaide Music Festival
Would you think music could be risk taking?

With an almost totally exclusive program of stellar artists who are proudly performing their Australian, or in some cases, world premiere performances, that will challenge and expand your musical appreciation. Festival organisers state it will be, "more risk-taking than ever before, collapsing and blurring ideas of genres... Unsound Adelaide brings euphoria and dread, surprise and tension, and a dollop of mischievousness and humour" through the expert use of audiovisual and performance art, where legends of the art collide with the experimental in colour filled laser displays, blown out rock, jazz and improvisation and so much more.

Performances in Thebarton Theatre are followed by two late night, Unsound Adelaide Club events, that will take your experience to a new level.

For the first time, Unsound Adelaide also includes a discourse program presented by the University of South Australia, giving context to the music events, as well as sound installations by groundbreaking artists.

Events will take place in venues across Adelaide including the Thebarton Theatre, Fowler's Live, Adelaide Botanic Garden, and the Hawke Centre.

Tickets available from Unsound
for Thebarton Theatre Festival performances and additional Club Nights.

If you're quick, there are Three Day festival passes available also which give you discounted access to the Club Nights.

Definitely an immersive and memorable experience not to be missed.
