The has got something for everyone. From great children's play areas, to picnic spots, to large sports ovals. This is a great place to head on the weekend to catch a game, or on a weekday to practice your own skills. This is a great community space for people to enjoy in whatever way works best for them.

The Oval is home to one of the SANFL's biggest teams, Sturt Football Club . Seven of the club's home games are held at the , so if you head there on a weekend you might be able to catch a game. There are many other sports held here, so sports fans will be able to catch a game while the kids play. If you're more interested in playing than watching, when the oval isn't in use it can be a great place to practice your footy or soccer skills.

You'll also find two play areas at the . The first is located by the eastern car park, and is a bright colourful place for kids to enjoy. This playground features towers, climbing frames, bridges, and a slide, and is fun for both older and younger children. Here you'll also find swings for the kids to have fun with. This playground is fenced in, and there is room for kids to run around as they play.

The other play area is up on one of the western hills, and is in the shape of a very fun pirate ship. This playground not only has an interactive element so that your child can become the next sea captain, but it also has a platform, slide, and fireman's pole. It is a well themed playground, that also gives parents a good view of watching any games. The location also means that it is a good spot for rolling down hills, as long as there isn't a game on.

As well as being a fun place to visit, the can be a great place to enjoy lunch. An oval may not seem like the ideal picnic spot, but there are picnic tables and barbecues that make sure that you will have a nice experience. The oval is very well maintained so you can even set up a spot on the lush green grass as long as there aren't any games going on around you. There are also toilet facilities located on the oval.

The can be a good place to catch a game, but it is also a good spot to visit even when there are no games happening. It provides good space for people wanting to practice their sporting skills, and also some very imaginative playgrounds for the children to enjoy.

If you are looking for more parks, sporting grounds, or playgrounds in the area head to the Unley City Council Website .
