Alex, The White Peacock at the Faculty of Arts, UWA

What you see in this photo is a white female bird (a peahen), also generally known as peacock. This is one of the six peacocks living in the New Fortune Theatre at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Western Australia (UWA). She and the rest of the other peacocks can be seen wandering about the courtyard of the Arts building. Named Alex after the Alexander Lecture Theatre where she has always been sighted as a peachick, Alex is the only white peacock in the flock. The rest have varied colours.
