UQ Researchers Seeking Volunteers for Ankle Arthritis Study

Determining the best treatment for ankle arthritis

The University of Queensland is conducting a research study comparing two different physiotherapy treatments designed for people with ankle arthritis.

Adults 35 years of age or older with ankle arthritis or ongoing ankle joint pain are needed for the study.

As part of this study, people will receive:

  • A free clinical assessment of their ankle at the University of Queensland, St. Lucia

  • A free ankle x-ray

  • Free treatment involving either a group education session or group education and exercise sessions, offered at physiotherapy clinics in St. Lucia or Carina

    Individuals will be given a $25 gift card at the end of the study to thank them for their participation.
