Not sure what dukka is, but I like it

I had the pleasure of enjoying this Lemon, Lime and Bitters at The University Hotel, which is a warm and inviting pub located on Lygon Street in Carlton.

There was ice in my drink, there was sun on the street and staff couldn't have been friendlier if they tried.

I also ordered dukka with flat-bread and marinated olives. It was off their snack menu but I had it as a 'light' lunch.

The bread was nicely warmed and the mini-salad had melted cheese on top. There were also semi-dried tomatoes tossed through the olives.

If I had to pick a fault it would just be that some of the olives were halved and pitted and some were left whole with pits – so of course I bit hard into a pit.

The current bar menu is available here.

The Uni Hotel's gluten-free menu is available here.
