Universal Studios Singapore offers you a ticket behind the scenes of some of your favourite movies. With 7 worlds full of rides, shows, and restaurants you can travel from Ancient Egypt to New York in a manner or minutes. Universal Studios is part of Resort World Sentosa, but you'll want to spend a whole day at least exploring what Universal has to offer.

The theme park is set up into the 7 different worlds of New York, Hollywood, Sci Fi City, Ancient Egypt, the Lost World, Far Far Away, and Madagascar. Each of these has its own attractions, and include experiences out of Battlestar Galactica, the Mummy, Jurassic Park, Shrek, and Madagascar. On top of these films Hollywood and New York give you a look at two of the most important cities in America's movie making history.

Rides are obviously a highlight of the theme park, and there are three stand-out rides that will have you lining up again and again. Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON is the most action packed ride available, with two coasters to choose from you'll twist and turn as the coasters whoosh past each other in 'battle'. Expect intense drops, upside down turns and lots of fun. Revenge of the Mummy will give you a few scares the first time around, but after that you'll just keep coming back because it is so much fun. Finally it is the tour through the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure where you'll have lots of fun and get very very wet.

There are also rides aimed at younger children to make sure that everyone can have fun. Kids will also love the Shrek 4D Adventure, where you can "see, hear, and FEEL the action." Follow the tour through the castle before sitting down in the theatre to enjoy the film.

As well as the rides, another big attraction are the shows. Lights, Camera, Action! With Stephen Spielburg takes you behind the scenes of a hurricane, then there are the break dancers on the streets of New York, and the Monster Rock show. When you're done you can eat at an authentic New York pizzeria, an Ancient Egyptian bazaar, or the Fossil Fuels Cafe. There are plenty of dining options in each world.

There is fun to be had for people of all ages at Universal Studios Singapore. The rides are fun, and you can easily spend the whole day trying your favourites over and over again. You'll find locker storage at the park for all your belongings, but try and use the ones by the Battlestar Galactica Ride because they're free for half an hour.

Tickets range from $32 to $118, or you can grab an annual pass starting at $208. The Universal Express is the easiest way to get to the park, and they pick up from locations and hotels around Singapore.
