The Festival is an Academy Awards® qualifying event, and amongst its rich offerings is Into The Limelight, presented by Uniting Prahran.Uniting are the carers, thinkers, doers, darers who strive to make a difference in everyday trials and triumphs, for everyone; just as they are.
Screening at the St Kilda Town Hall, corner Carlisle Street and Brighton Road, St Kilda, on Sunday 30 June 2019 at 11am, this is a FREE event, but you need to REGISTER to secure your free tickets.
This is an initiative engaging participants living with mental illness in the creative process of performance and filmmaking. Into the Limelight participants are mentored by filmmaking professionals to write, develop and perform in a series of short comedic films which are showcased in this wildly imaginative selection of stories told through film. Discover a bromance between a glass of juice and a piece of popcorn, and engage in an epic battle with caffeine-hungry coffee zombies. Do come along and see for yourself as you support the Australian film industry.
