Located in Stuart Street, Armadale, the playground is a wonderful local park for families. With a basketball ring and lovely grassed area for kicking a footy, older kids are catered for whilst their younger friends or siblings are enjoying the great fenced playground.

The playground, which has shade sails for those hot summer days, consists of two wooden structures. One structure is more suited to younger children, with a low slide and raised wobble bridge, whilst the other is more suited for older ones with a much higher slide and fireman's pole.

There are also 4 swings within the fenced area. Parents will appreciate that there are benches and a picnic table within the fenced enclosure as well as outside. This makes keeping an eye on the kids much easier. There is also a decent amount of grass and shade trees inside the fenced area which does make it more pleasant. Visibility is great as the grassed area within the playground is on higher ground than the playground equipment.

It is also great for adults that the awesome Cubbyhouse Canteen is about a hundred meters from the playground, where takeaway coffee and food can be procured. Do check the opening hours in the colder months though as the cafe is shut on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, should you be unlucky enough to visit the playground when the cafe is shut, being situated in Armadale means that there are a range of cafes just a short walk from the park.

Whilst the playground itself is not the largest or fanciest of playgrounds around, the fact that it is fenced and offers a range of equipment means that kids can easily spend an hour or more here without any issues. The basketball ring, open grassed area and cafe mean that everyone in the family is catered for.
