Unicorn Selfies is the latest instalment in the best selling Phoebe and Marigold series by Dana Simpson. Previous volumes include Unicorn Playlist , Razzle Dazzle Unicorn , and Virtual Unicorn Experience . You don't really need to have read the previous volumes to enjoy this one. All you need to know is that Phoebe is a little girl whose best friend is a unicorn called Marigold Heavenly Nostrils.



In Unicorn Selfies Phoebe and Marigold get to enjoy the unveiling of their private clubhouse built by pixies, Marigold accidentally brings some of Phoebe's margin doodles to life, and meets her parents for the first time. Marigold also takes a lot of selfies, because who wouldn't if they were that fabulous?



It's nifty that, while still being an adorable book about friendship and unicorns, this volume deals with some contemporary issues, such as conspiracy theories and the perils of reading the comments online.





Unicorn Selfies is a lovely piece of wholesome escapism for all ages. Read it and be content for a while.
