Unicorn Famous
is the 13th book in the Phoebe and her Unicorn series, which is pretty impressive. Even more so since after so many volumes the books are still as quirky, adorable and funny as ever. If you haven't read the previous books it doesn't really matter since the backstory isn't very important, but if you read this one and like it then it's definitely worth going back and reading the earlier books.

The series is about an ordinary girl named Phoebe, and her best friend, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, who is a unicorn. In this volume, Phoebe learns that unicorns have recently become trendy among humans, and Marigold attempts to make humans equally trendy with unicorns. Marigold also speaks on unicorn radio as an expert on humans, and she and Phoebe cook up ways to scam the tooth fairy.

As always, there is a glossary in the back of the book for children to look up any unfamiliar words.

Unicorn Famous is another sweet, funny book about unicorns and friendship, which will appeal to kids aged 7 and up and to the young at heart.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book by Andrews McMeel Publishing, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.

Why? Because it's got unicorns in it.
