Houghton Winery are well-known supporters of art and artists and often make their gallery available for exhibitions.
For the month of September they are featuring the work of three local artists - Roger Reading, Honor Lovis and Mary Crawford called Uncorked.
Roger Reading works in mixed media, oils, watercolours and acrylics, working in a studio and en plein air, demonstrating huge versatility as well as being deeply influenced by his world travels.

Honor Lovis is a qualified Powertex trainer as well as working in mixed media out of her Perth studio.

Mary Crawford's large, slightly surreal, paintings of vivid and vibrant colour are influenced by her desire to produce artwork that is both unusual and rare. Her gourd creatures will delight and intrigue.
Both Mary and Honor were students of Jana Vodesil-Baruffi and have exhibited at Houghton Winery before for the fund-raising exhibition Collective Strokes.
