The Grandiose Umpherston Sinkhole (also know as the Sunken Garden) is located in Mount Gambier South Australia. It was once a Limestone Cave which transformed into a garden when the ceiling collapses. In 1886, James Umpherston began planting a garden in the huge shaft which is now a magnificent picture of greenery.
