If you race in and catch the Umbrella Decoration Workshop on 22 Jan from 10.30am to 12pm (ticketed event - see event page for all details) you could be well and truly ready for the main event, the Umbrella Family Fun Day! General entry will come at a cost of $20 ($10 concession). Children under 12 are welcome and admitted FREE under the supervision of an adult.
Head to the Duldig Studio Museum at 92 Burke Rd, East Malvern (opp Central Park) on Sunday 9 February 2020 from 2-4pm for a fun day of free activities, an umbrella parade with prizes, and light refreshments to enjoy while you take in the beautiful surrounds of the sculpture garden. Decorate your own umbrella or bring your favourite from home to join in the parade. Dressing to match your brolly is encouraged.
Be amongst the first for the launch of a Limited Edition Umbrella designed by the founder Eva de Jong-Duldig. It celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Duldig family's arrival in Australia. The modern folding umbrella was invented in Vienna in 1929 by Slawa Horowitz-Duldig so the Dudig name has been synonymous with umbrellas for a very long time. Join in the celebratory fun day and get all the details on the event page.
