Best way to get around Ayers Rock
Uluru rises majestically from the landscape as a feast for your eyes as you first set eyes on this majestic monolith of Uluru, known also to many as Ayers Rock. Arriving by air or road it is truly awe-inspiring and well worth exploring.
Without a car, you will need to book a tour to reach the Rock. The Uluru Hop on Hop off Bus is a great way to get to there There are various stops from the Uluru Cultural Centre to/from the Ayers Rock Resort that goes around the rock.

You can hop off at any spot and join at another point and a day ticket is $49 per adult. This is well worth it if you have set out to trek around the rock. The base walk around Uluru is some10km pm on a flat dirt patch and can take around 3 hours to complete.
