Best way to get around Ayers Rock
Uluru rises majestically from the landscape as a feast for your eyes as you first set eyes on this majestic monolith of Uluru, known also to many as Ayers Rock. Arriving by air or road it is truly awe-inspiring and well worth exploring.

You can hop off at any spot and join at another point and a day ticket is $49 per adult. This is well worth it if you have set out to trek around the rock. The base walk around Uluru is some10km pm on a flat dirt patch and can take around 3 hours to complete.

Beautiful colours of Uluru

The option of a hop on and off bus to take you to different parts around the base is good to know, especially on a hot day.
