It's time to shed the winter weight and get ready for the beach. Function Well has just announced their Ultimate Body 8 Week Challenge. This cutting edge exercise and nutrition program has been road tested by over a thousand real people over ten years and is now being offered with an online website.

The next eight-week program is starting on Monday 12th September 2016 and after that will be held every quarter. In a few months, the program will be available exclusively online to people who can't make it to the Function Well gym at Teneriffe.

Ultimate Body 8 Week Challenge


The Ultimate Body challenge is based on three key pillars of nutrition, movement and restoration. It is based on ying recovery, meditation and yoga, balanced with yang high intensity exercise.

The exclusive membership website will contain everything you need to complete the eight weeks including a challenge manual. There are training programs for fat blasting, fitness improving and muscle training. I had a sneak peak at the online course material and my favourite part was the resources - there are some downloadable PDFs written by some of my favourite fitness and wellness personalities.

One of the strengths of the program is the nutrition guide. This covers the food groups to eat, a detailed shopping guide, a meal planning template, delicious recipes, FAQs and more resources. It was especially developed for the program.

The Ultimate Body 8 Week Challenge includes:
Two inbody 570 assessments at the commencement and completion of the challenge
Four online seminars
Weekly team sessions, which may include testing of your physical skills (such as cardio respiratory endurance, strength, stamina, power, speed, flexibility, agility, accuracy, coordination and balance).
One small group private coaching session
Before and after photos
Podcast of the week
An optional MYZONE activity belt
An optional seven-day detox program
