Do you remember the joy you felt as a child bouncing on a trampoline for the first time? It was fun, right? Well guess what? Welcome to that same feeling through the world of rebounding while getting your fitness levels up at the same time.

Bouncing on high-quality mini trampolines (rebounders) to funky music, doing interval cardio training (by the name of Tabata), mixing it up with some boxing moves Rocky would be proud of, doing partner sit ups and so much more - this is U-bounce! These fitness classes take getting fit and healthy to a new level of fun and enjoyment

Now for the first time in a permanent studio in Sandringham, Bayside, the ever-smiling, Eveready- bunny energised Gaby, also known as Ms.Bouncy, will take you on a 10 week journey, at the end of which you will be asking for more and more. Even when you are feeling uncoordinated and tired in the first class, if you have not been on a rebounder before, one of Gaby's megawatt smiles and encouraging words will infuse you with some of her seemingly endless energy and result in you wanting to bounce even faster and harder. She has that effect on people.



The classes do get progressively more challenging and the bouncing is mixed up with hand weights, elastic bands and medicine balls, all the while bouncing on the trampolines. At the same time, each person is encouraged to bounce at their own level and if you feel you can't quite keep up that's OK. You will get to your own level of bouncing competence and fitness and will definitely improve, both in coordination and timing each time you bounce.

The classes incorporate elements of cardio training, abdominal workouts, pilates, boxing and stretching. Gaby mixes these up so no class is ever the same and there are also elements of surprise too, all in the name of change and fun.There is also a circuit class that can be focused on more challenging fitness or customised to a particular group.



Besides getting fitter and more coordinated and giving you a better sense of balance, U-bounce has other health benefits too. Unlike other aerobic exercise,U-bounce is gentle on your joints and bones, and so does not put extra stress on knees and feet. Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and ages and at the end of a 45 minute class you will feel re-energised, and full of happy hormones. Rebounding is great for lymphatic fitness too.

The semester has started but there is room in some of the classes, which are spread across the day to accommodate early risers, mums with school-aged children and those who prefer their fitness regime after work.
