These shy owls may be spotted all year round however they are more commonly seen between February and June at dawn and dusk. This owl is sometimes confused with the Barn Owl. The main difference between them is the Grass Owl's extremely long legs, hence its common nickname of Daddy Long Legs. " - from the informative sign.

The trails in the wetlands range from a casual stroll to a serious nature lover's walk. The wetlands offer the opportunity to get close to nature and spotting wildlife. Along the trails, there are bridges, viewing platforms and picnic spots.
