Like all good outlet sales, there's no guarantees what designs they will have in stock but unlike clothes, stationary is for everyone. If you're a fan of Typo, and are not fussed on whether you have the latest designs, then the Typo Pop-up outlet sale is for you.

When I visited they had a huge stockpile of notebooks ranging in size from tiny memo notebooks in The Simpsons designs ($3) to A4 notebooks in music designs ($5) and hardcover notebooks in felt, faux-leather, and inspirational quotes, all for $5.

Stay hydrated in the heat, with a big selection of drink bottles from $5 including flat and square designs to easily fit in your laptop bag. There's also ceramic portable coffee mugs for $5 and leaf-tea travel mugs for $10.

There was a large selection of travel accessories like bag tags ($3), travel slippers ($5), and headphones ($5), along with tech accessories like tablet cases ($10), small Star Wars virtual reality goggles ($4-10) and iPhone cases ($5).

Everything was advertised as being under $10 and many items were under $5, magnets for $1, with a small selection of Christmas cards for 50c. A few items like fairy lights, thermos and cushions were the only items I saw over $10.

Stock up now for 2018 birthday gifts, and future stocking fillers, saving money for other important life purchases like a sleeping eye mask ($3), an insulated lunch bag with carry handles ($10), or scented candles in a jar ($5), to brighten up your home.

As a sucker for a bargain, I ended up buying a hardcover, grey-felt and leather trim notebook ($5), a Star Wars Calendar ($2), and a fox sleeping eye-mask ($3).

New stock arrives multiple times a week, depending upon overstocks from other stores. At the moment, Typo is trialling the location as a pop-up for three months (ending March) however if successful, then it may continue into a permanent outlet store.

The Typo Pop-up Outlet Sale is open from:
10am to 5:30pm Friday - Wednesday
10am to 8pm Thursday

They accept cash and EFTPOS, for $2 you can purchase a designer reusable tote bag, instead of using disposable plastic bags. Profits from these, go towards charities supported by Typo.

There's plenty of undercover parking beneath Reading Cinemas which is in the same complex. Reading Cinemas Auburn has $10 tickets to all movie sessions, any day so with the money you save at Typo, you can catch the latest flicks like Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Showman, or Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri.

You can access the Redyard complex via Parramatta Road, there's traffic lights in front of Oporto's and Red Rooster. You can access the above ground carpark via Percy Street.
