I'm about to tell you to get on your bike and, when I do, I mean it in the nicest possible way. Here it comes: . It's a super-cool eatery located in Milton that's just perfect for breakfast to lunch to anything in between.

Situated in a converted garage of a cycle training centre, the vintage-themed is the love child of Rene Skelton and Paolo Motosi. The couple met in London, went travelling together and the haven of foodie heaven they subsequently created back in Brisbane has garnered a loyal following since it opened in September 2013.

currently serves breakfast and lunch. (No dinner service yet but that's potentially on the cards.) The menu focuses primarily on fresh Australian produce, 'though we did serve fresh mussels from New Zealand one day', Skelton says.

The couple's belief is that local producers should be supported and rewarded and that's why the menu changes daily depending on what's available at the fruit and vegetable markets, or the fishmonger, or the butcher shop. 'The produce always comes before the menu,' Skelton explains. 'That's why we create new menus - that's four lunch options, for example - every day.'

Some restaurateurs would shudder at the thought of coming up with something fresh and new every working day, and Skelton agrees that it's certainly a labour of love. 'We haven't taken the easy road, but we never wanted to,' she admits.

She says the heart-felt feedback they get from customers indicates their commitment is appreciated: 'It's so rewarding when we hear customers tell us: That's the best thing I have ever eaten in my life.'
