Just to the left side of the boat ramp is a small beach sitting in front of the rocks, facing the marina. It's easily accessible and allows enough room to launch your paddle-board, or even relax with a view to spectate.
Due to a glorious morning with a light breeze, it was quite busy with boat enthusiasts leaving the marina the weekend we visited. Advantageously, being a large marina it was shared safely and ample space to enjoy our activity.
It's an ideal setting for beginners to advanced. It can also be fun to bounce over the boaters back wash, or if you prefer like myself to avoid entering the water with a splash, kneel down and enjoy the excuse to rest.
