The 2IFC building - also called the airport express - is one of the tallest buildings in Hong Kong. We were allowed up the to 55th floor, but we needed to hand in our IDs to go that high - and it was only about halfway.

The goblet-shaped building in the mountaintop middle of the first photo is "The Peak" - Hong Kong's most famous tourist site. In the second photo, all the foreground land has been reclaimed from the sea (because even in Hong Kong, people do realise that building a skyscraper on a 45-degree incline is somewhat difficult).

There was a small museum of Hong Kong currency up there, and a library. But it was the view, as always in Hong Kong, that was worth every second.
