Red Coat Tours is hosting several free walking tours of Melbourne on Saturdays of December. The tours focus on the city's crime related history. It commences at Tianjin Garden at the entrance of Chinatown and completed in around 90 minutes. You will visit the Royal Exhibition Building, Little Lon, our not-so-famous old slum, the garottings and public hanging locations. You will also hear stories of Jack the Ripper's Melbourne connection, Squizzy Taylor, the Great Bookie Robbery and others. As the tour is free, tips are appreciated. The meeting point is next to the black lions. Contact the tour company to register.
