When you participate in the Twilight Wildlife Adventure you can see nocturnal animals coming to forage and feed; you might see sugar gliders, possums, microbats, tawny frogmouths and kangaroos. Bring along a torch to make sure you can spot these unique Australian animals. There will be sounds too, during these twilight hours, perhaps a kookaburra will welcome you with its distinct laugh. Make sure you keep your eyes open and ears attuned to spot as many animals as you can.

There are so many different activities to take part in at The Briars, the Twilight Wildlife Adventure is just one of them. There are Sunday Sessions, an Aboriginal walk, daytime adventure activities for children 6-10 and even ice sledding in summer! You can check out all the different activities here and many of these are free.

The Briars, in case you have not been before, is a treasure trove of nature, wildlife, adventure, and history too. It is a public park or rather nature reserve, owned and operated by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, for people of all abilities and all ages to learn about heritage, enjoy a range of activities and participate in the development of a more sustainable future.
